Ganlys are a leading supplier of hardware, homewares and electrical with 3 retail stores providing customers with quality, competitively priced products & unrivalled service.
Ganlys are seeking to hire an experienced Store Manager for our Longford store.
The Store Manager, reporting to the Directors, will have ultimate responsibility for the financial, commercial, operational decisions and performance of the business.
Responsibilities as Store Manager
- Lead sales performance to meet or exceed KPIs while maintain a strong focus on delivering exceptional customer service
- Supervise and motivate the sales team, providing coaching, support and ongoing development to sustain high morale and productivity.
- Maintain outstanding store presentation, ensuring cleanliness, merchandising standards, and a welcoming shopping environment
- Enforce compliance with company policies, procedures, security protocols, and relevant regulatory requirements
- Manage daily operational aspects of the store, including staffing levels, schedule planning, and stock rotation to ensure efficient site performance
Skills and Qualities
- Minimum of 2-3years' experience in hardware management, with a preference for candidates who have worked in builders' supplies, agricultural, plumbing, electrical or DIY environments
- Strong business awareness and practical understanding of the local retail landscape
- In-depth knowledge of categories such as builders' suppliers, plumbing, electrical, and DIY hardware
- Proven track record in delivering outstanding customer service aligned with company values
- Excellent leadership and team-management skills, with strong attention to detail and organisational discipline
- Experience in customer-facing roles and ability to uphold and embed the brand's culture and values
