We are currently recruiting for a Sales Executive at The Athlone Springs Hotel.
The Role :Responsible for managing reservations efficiently, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring a smooth booking experience
The Ideal Person:The ideal Reservations Executive is self-motivated, organised, and able to prioritise tasks effectively. They possess excellent customer service skills and a good understanding of the hospitality industry. Familiarity with Hotsoft is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Manage telephone and email enquiries
- Identify new contacts, develop sales leads, and respond to sales opportunities in order to maximise revenue
- Produce quotations and written confirmation to all clients
- To ensure that all business leads and opportunities are followed up in a timely manner including enquiries and provisional bookings.
- Ensure bookings are guaranteed and no show charges/late cancellation charges are applied where appropriate
- To deal with all clients in a professional and friendly manner
- Use of onsite computer systems including Hotsoft
- Liaise regularly with relevant managers in relation to reservations

Experience
- Previous hotel experience
- Experience of hotel PMS Systems with Hotsoft an advantage
- Be able to maximise revenue by converting enquiries, recognising business prospects and upselling
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Good time management skills
- Be able to work in a high-pressured environment whilst maintaining a positive attitude
- A highly organised person with the ability to prioritise and multitask
