Role Summary:
As a Sales Team Leader, you will assist the senior management team in the smooth day-to-day running of the store. The Sales Team Leader will conduct store opening and closing procedures, cash handling and continuous coaching of the sales team. As Sales Team Leader you will drive sales and service expectations, smash targets and set KPI’s for the store. You will be adept at communicating across your team, reading weekly reports and taking appropriate commercial action. Attend and maintain general housekeeping throughout each shift.
Experience Required:
- 1-2 years’ experience preferably in fashion or sports retail
- An understanding of fashion trends and fast paced environment
- Behaviours Required:
- Highly organized with robust planning ability
- Demonstrate ability to work well in a team
- Confident dealing with customers and team
- Illustrate a creative approach to current ways of working
- Strong Interpersonal and Communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the store manager in the smooth running of the store.
- Lead sales and service expectations, smash the targets and KPI’s set for the store.
- Display and demonstrate excellent product knowledge to customers using the E-learning tools available.
- Communicate with Brand Centre and store team daily.
- Read weekly reports to support commercial decisions and take appropriate actions when required.
- Plan and organise daily tasks and support the senior managers with the opening and closing of the store.
- Motivate and encourage the team to be fearless delivering service and learning new product knowledge
- Lead by example and make sure policies and procedures are followed in store.
- Be aware of our competitors and engage in regular competitor checks.
