Job Title: Senior Account Executive - Media Solutions B2B
Report to: Head of Media Solutions
Location: The Irish Times HQ, Tara Street (Hybrid Working)
Job Purpose: Maximise agency media revenues across all Irish Times Group digital, print, events and products consistent with corporate sales targets and strategies as directed by Department Manager.
Main accountabilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Develop and nurture relationships with clients - brands direct and where relevant via agencies.
- Have a proven track record in sales (telephone or face to face).
- Drive revenue through proactive pitching and response to briefs.
- Creation of advertising proposals and work with existing sales teams to ensure media proposals are of the highest quality.
- Review competitive intelligence reports and devise strategies to improve market share.
- To support the further development and growth of Irish Times advertising channels (including events, audio and content studio)
- To support the further development and growth of breakingnews.ie (and or any brands within the wider group)
- Communicate a client's campaign performance and work with the relevant team on optimisation recommendations to improve performance.
- Be briefed on latest market opportunities and updates.
- Identification of market trends that present opportunities to expand the portfolio of Irish Times Media Solutions offerings.
- Support relevant account manager with preparation for pitches, roadshows and/or client events.
- Maintain sales records and files.
- To represent the Irish Times Group at occasional business-related functions/ conferences/ promotions etc.
- To partake fully in all on and off the job training.
- Such further or other duties as may be allocated from time to time.
