The Banking and Capital Markets group at Dillon Eustace LLP is looking to bolster its market leading team. We want to recruit an enthusiastic Senior Associate who wants to work in one of Ireland’s most dynamic and progressive banking and finance teams.
Our Banking and Capital Markets team has long been recognised as a market leader for high-value, cross-border debt finance work. Our work covers a broad range of domestic and international finance work including general corporate banking matters, fund finance, acting for sellers, buyers and servicers of distressed loan assets, advising on complex capital markets, asset (including aviation and maritime) finance, securitisation and structured finance transactions, and providing banking regulatory advices.
Our clients include many of the world’s leading financial institutions, hedge funds, private equity/real estate funds and investors, distressed funds and other credit market participants. The group also regularly advises on a variety of transactions, acting for (and opposite) banks and non-bank lenders operating in Ireland.

To support and sustain the continued expansion of the group we are looking for solicitors with experience in some or all of the following areas:
Corporate and General BankingCommercial Property Finance

Distressed Asset Investing and Work-out / Bank Deleveraging
Asset Finance and Leasing
Capital Markets and Derivatives
Securitisation and Structured Finance.
Requirements
The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate the following:
Qualified Solicitor in Ireland and/or another common law jurisdiction, with a minimum of four (4) years PQE.
Demonstrable experience in banking and finance legal practice - ideally with a leading Irish or international law firm.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage a busy workload and meet deadlines on a consistent and timely basis.
Ability to contribute to the continued development of the practice.
Strong interest in maintaining, developing and sharing relevant legal knowledge.
Excellent legal research, drafting and presentation skills.
Strong interpersonal and communications skills.
