Role Overview
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Bodywork Expert to lead complex repair and restoration projects. This role demands technical excellence, leadership, and a passion for automotive craftsmanship. You’ll be a key figure in maintaining our reputation for quality and mentoring junior technicians.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform advanced bodywork repairs including panel beating, sandblasting, welding, and structural restoration
- Diagnose damage and develop repair plans with precision
- Lead and supervise junior bodyworkers and apprentices
- Ensure all work meets safety and quality standards
- Collaborate with paint technicians and mechanical teams
- Maintain accurate records of repairs and materials used
- Stay current with industry techniques and technologies
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in automotive bodywork
- Mastery of body repair tools, welding equipment, and finishing techniques
- Strong leadership and mentoring skills
- Excellent problem-solving and attention to detail
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and repair manuals
- Certification in automotive body repair or equivalent training
- Valid driver’s license is required
