Senior Manager, Leadership Talent Acquisition
Location: Ireland (Dublin) or UK (Leeds or London)
Reporting to: Talent Acquisition Director, UKI & Flutter Functions
What is the role?
The Senior Manager for Leadership Talent Acquisition (TA) will be a key member of the newly formed Talent Acquisition Centre of Excellence (CoE). They will lead the Director-level TA proposition across both central Flutter Functions (FF) and the UK & Ireland (UKI) region. This role will oversee all internal and external Director-level vacancies, lead on all proactive sourcing for critical roles and develop strong external market intelligence to help drive best-in-class senior-level hiring strategies. This will, ultimately, help build quality leadership level talent and talent pipelines in support of the Group, Flutter Functions and UKI business agendas.
Responsibilities:
- Shape the future Director-level TA proposition; driving best practice, innovation and alignment with other People CoEs (e.g. Talent & Leadership) and the wider Group
- Oversee the full Director-level recruitment process for individual vacancies, from role briefing to onboarding; ensuring a smooth, efficient and positive experience for candidates and Exec-level hiring managers across FF & UKI
- Lead on all proactive sourcing, headhunting and market mapping across FF & UKI; identifying and engaging high-calibre senior talent and building pipelines for future business-critical roles and executive-level succession planning
- Work collaboratively with all business leaders, People Heads/Directors, People CoEs and other stakeholders in ensuring the effective and timely delivery of all Leadership hiring needs
- Support internal talent mobility efforts across FF, UKI and the wider Group; building awareness of current talent bench strength, availability and alignment with potential vacancies
- Apply hiring best practices across all Director-level recruitment processes, striving for diverse shortlists and unbiased assessment methodologies
- Oversee Director-level onboarding for new hires to the Group; working closely with the People Partnering teams to apply best practice to ensure the optimum candidate experience
- Act as a trusted advisor to key stakeholders; regularly sharing external market trends, talent insights and competitor intelligence to help inform talent actions and discussions
- On behalf of FF & UKI, act as main point of contact for the key partner organisations such as Executive Search firms and Research Houses. Work closely with them on live mandates, managing and optimising existing relationships against consistent commercial terms, service and performance metrics (in conjunction with the Talent & Leadership CoE). Also monitor external market for any potential new partnerships as well as ensuring business compliance to the PSL
- Track and report on Director-level TA metrics; driving key recruitment performance indicators and satisfaction scores to ensure a timely, effective and positive experience for all candidates and Exec-level hiring managers
- Use insights to inform key decision-making and drive continuously improvement across Leadership TA process and proposition
Experience:
- Background in Executive-level Talent Acquisition; ideally within a fast-paced, complex organisation
- Have designed, developed and embedded effectively end-to-end TA propositions for senior level hiring
- Extensive experience of using different sourcing methodologies at an Executive-level with a strong track-record of delivering high impact senior-level hires
- Deep knowledge of assessment methodologies (and test providers), ensuring robust, inclusive and objective hiring decisions
- Experience of delivering effective onboarding practices for new Director-level hires
- Good understanding of integrated talent management processes (e.g. Divisional Talent Reviews, Succession Planning) and possess deep market intelligence / competitor benchmarking knowledge
- Well-connected in the external market with experience in managing key external partnerships such as Executive Search firms; building deep relationships, maximising value and driving performance

- Possesses strategic mindset and high degree of organisational understanding and awareness
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing/advisory skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships with senior executives across FF, UKI and the wider Group
- Excellent communication skills; both verbal and written
- Strong analytical skills; using insights to inform hiring decisions and enhance Director-level TA proposition and processes
- Comfortable working with ambiguity, at pace and in a changing environment
- High levels of personal integrity, resilience, drive and setting high professional standards
- Excellent organisational skills, with ability to manage multiple senior-level hiring processes simultaneously
