Our family run, speciality food store has been open in Rochestown for 10 years. We are focused on producing high quality, homemade salads, dinners, and desserts while also supporting local suppliers.
We are searching for a passionate Front of House Shop Assistant for our bustling, customer-focused deli/bakery. You will be responsible for leading the service standards under the guidance of the Store Manager.

Full-Time Role: 40 hours, 4-5 days per week (flexibility considered), including weekends. Start date: ASAP.

Job Description:
- Assist in managing and motivating a team fostering a positive work culture.
- Always aiming to exceed the expectations by anticipating customer needs and provide a pro-active service
- To ensure the store is set up for the day, maintaining standards and delegating tasks where appropriate.
- To actively drive average, spend per head, by identifying all opportunities for recommendations.
- To assist in training the junior team on the menu, enabling them to give detailed descriptions of the dishes, provide recommendations for customers and give accurate allergens advice.
- In the absence of the store manager, help manage the operation effectively, maximising sales.
- Work alongside the kitchen and adhere to HACCP
- To highlight health and safety or maintenance matters to the Store Manager.

- Previous experience working in a small team in a café, store or restaurant.

- To enjoy yourself at work in order to create a happy work environment.
- Willing to get stuck in and drive the business forward.
- Great communicator and ability to work with other leaders within the business.
- A positive and outgoing personality
- A good command of the English language.

Pay: €13.50-€17.50 per hour
