Role Overview:
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to establish the role and make a significant contribution to the capability of ICS Medical Devices and the development of employees at all levels within the company. The Senior Talent Development Specialist will design, implement, and manage comprehensive training programs tailored to the needs of our fast-growing company. This role requires a strategic thinker who can assess training needs, deliver impactful learning experiences, and contribute to the overall development of our workforce. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in adult learning principles, and a passion for fostering professional growth. The candidate must be able to demonstrate an in-depth understanding of the L&D function, including strategy; development, financial management; reporting, analysis, delivery and evaluation of training.
Key Responsibilities:
· Consult with the Site Management Team to learn and understand the Business Strategies; Critical Skills requirements and specific development challenges to be addressed.
· Develop and implement the Training Strategy to compliment and drive the Business Strategies.
· Design and implement a structured work-based learning framework that supports employee development, aligns with business goals, and fosters continuous learning across the company.
· Lead & manage the internal development programs in place.
· Develop and deliver training as per the approved Annual Training schedule.
· Manage L&D scheduling to meet business and people requirements.
· Research, develop and deploy appropriate training and development techniques, tools and approaches to meet the business strategic requirements.
· Document and report on the site L&D Activity including budgetary spend.
· Evaluate training delivery outcomes against achievement of business objectives to enable continuous development and improvements of training solutions.
· Manage funding and grant applications, tracking and claims processing .
· Partner with HR on the Performance Management; Succession Planning and Talent Management programs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Education, Organisational Development, or a related field; advanced degree an advantage.
- 5+ years of experience in learning and development, preferably in the medical device, pharmaceutical, or healthcare industry.
- Deep knowledge of adult learning principles, instructional design, and training methodologies.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Excellent communication & organisational skills.
- Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships at all levels.
- Ability to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal.
