We are seeking an experienced Project Site Engineer to join our team in Kerry.
Responsibilities
Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE)
Champion the company’s Safety Statement: ensure all team members understand and adhere to its provisions.
Maintain current knowledge of HSQE management systems and relevant legislation.
Enforce compliance with statutory safety requirements and internal HSE procedures on site.
Develop and present method statements, risk assessments, and toolbox talks tailored to each phase of the work.
Monitor site conditions; immediately report and rectify unsafe practices or hazards.
Lead by example in PPE usage, safe work methods, and proactive risk awareness.
Act as the HSQE lead in the absence of the Project Manager or Site Agent.
Candidate Profile
Education: Master’s degree in Civil, Structural, or related Engineering discipline.
Experience: 4–5 years as a Site/Setting‑Out Engineer on medium‑ to large‑scale construction projects.
Specialism: Exposure to water or wastewater infrastructure projects preferred.
Professional Affiliations: Membership in a recognized engineering institution (e.g., Engineers Ireland, ICE).
Technical Skills: Proficient with surveying instruments, CAD drawings, and MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
