Snr Manager, Digital Program Management – Healthcare - Athenry, Ireland
Meet the team:
Join our dynamic team as we navigate and lead the Dexcom Manufacturing Team in Ireland on its digital journey in an exciting, fast-paced program as we stand up and grow a new manufacturing plant. As a key leader, you will bring Digital Transformation Program experience to our structured project governance, driving cross-functional teams to help bring our Athenry facility to commercial readiness while utilising your knowledge of current and emerging trends in the digital environment. You will collaborate with local and global stakeholders and leaders to enhance the Dexcom digital solution, one which we continually improve upon. Where you come in:
- You collaborate and bring program leadership to our highly complex digital journey from inception through sustaining and improvement including:
- Commercial readiness of the Athenry Facility.
- MES deployment
- Incorporating capacity expansion and new manufacturing equipment and processes.
- Adoption of global IT systems
- System connectivity
- New products/processes.
- You facilitate multi-disciplinary cross-functional teams in the planning and execution of digital strategy and planning workshops leveraging user-centered design methodologies and approaches to ensure the needs of users are at the center of solution development
- You develop the project/program plan and share status to management and cross-functional teams.
- You anticipate and prevent issues with schedule, resources, and scope. You drive risk assessment as well as resolution.
- You challenge current thinking and data, study the process, and determine best in class future state data alignment to enable digital transformation
- You setup training plans, change management plans to drive transformation across relevant areas
- You partner with functional leaders and team members to drive critical path program activities/ resources/ costs across all departments
- You define, implement, and monitor key digital transformation metrics and produce meaningful reports to Leadership to ensure alignment of business development plans and proposals impacting organizational, financial, and operational results
- You have the ability and confidence to run programs and provide updates to executive and Snr leadership
- You are responsible for compliance with medical device regulatory standards for all aspects of the program.
- You work directly with global partners, as appropriate.
- You collaborate and drive continuous process improvement activities
What makes you successful:
- You have knowledge and work experience in Digital Transformation and Manufacturing.
- You demonstrate successful management of technical projects and programs.
- You have excellent communication skills with the ability to convey technical and business information clearly and effectively through informal and formal documents, reports, and presentations to senior management.
- You bring technical leadership experience and an understanding of regulated change control.
- You have technical knowledge and an understanding of FDA/ISO regulations working with GMP’s and ISO standards.
- You are proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Excel, and project management tools (Smartsheet).
- Ideally, you have Program Management certification, i.e. PMP or equivalent.

Experience and Education Requirements:
- Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline with 13+ years of industry experience
- 5-8 years of previous people management experience
