PORTWEST, a leading global manufacturer of safety wear, workwear and PPE is currently seeking applications for the position of Supply Chain Administrator in Westport, Mayo on a full time permanent basis reporting to the Manufacturing Manager. JOB SUMMARY:
As the Supply Chain Administrator you will support the Supply Chain team through updating business critical systems with real-time information that supports supply chain planning, shipping and timely delivery of Portwest Products globally. You will work closely with Supply Chain Planners, suppliers of products, our manufacturing facilities and various internal stakeholders.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Updating our ERP system namely M3 with accurate goods shipping dates to support timely delivery to customers
- Update shipping dates and orders placed on factory extranets sites
- Review and reconcile daily data with monthly reports
- Provide general administrative duties as and when required to support the broader Supply Chain team
- Review and reconcile fabric batches
- Ensure accurate costings are entered onto Portwest internal systems
- Raise purchase orders on M3 when purchasing goods or raw materials from suppliers who are mainly based in Asia
- Any other duties that may be necessary
REQUIREMENTS:
- Degree qualified in Business Studies or related discipline is desirable
- Strong Microsoft office skills in Word & Excel
- Ability to learn system functionality to effectively use extranets and ERP systems
- Analytical and problem solving skills
- Commercial acumen and ambition to learn and progress
- Ability to work on own initiative and independently
