We are an NQS registered sport and leisure facility providing the people of Kilkenny and beyond with access to a very wide range of sport and leisure facilities since December 2008. Our facilities include swimming, indoor and outdoor team sports, fitness classes, Les Mills fitness classes, school and club exercise programmes, athletics and more.
We are looking for a qualified and experienced Swim Instructor / Lifeguard to join our team.
- Full-time 39 hours per week
- Range of morning, mid-week and evening shifts available
- Candidate must be avaialble Monday to Friday - this position is not suitable for candidates who are only available at weekends
The candidate:
We focus on team work and providing excellent customer service. Candidates should be of the same mindset and also possess a passion for swimming and a dedication to personal and professional high standards;
General requirements:
- Minimum age of 18 years
- Fluent English speaker
- Currently resident in Ireland
Specific requirements:
- Evidence of swim teacher qualification must be provided
- Previous experience teaching swimming to children/adults must be demonstrated
- Candidates must possess the ability to effectively communicate with swimmers of all ages and abilities, to develop their confidence and skills in the water
Non-essential but advantageous requirements:
- Lifeguard qualification
- First aid qualification
Rate of pay:
- Competitive hourly rate DOE, including payment during break times
