Job Description
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will oversee and coordinate the daily operations of shipments, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery. You will liaise with clients, carriers, and internal teams to optimize logistics processes and maintain high service standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate transport, warehousing, and distribution operations.
- Monitor shipments to ensure on-time delivery and resolve any issues that arise.
- Communicate with clients, suppliers, and carriers to manage logistics processes efficiently.
- Prepare and process shipping documents, and necessary documentation.
- Maintain accurate records of shipments, inventory, and logistics activities.
- Collaborate with warehouse and transport teams to improve workflow and efficiency.
- Timely engagement with customers to ensure high-quality customer service is maintained and promptly address customer queries.
Requirements
- Previous experience in logistics, transport coordination, or supply chain management.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Experienced in Microsoft Suite, especially Excel.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Proficiency in logistics software.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Experience in air and sea freight is helpful but not essential.
