The Role:
As waitress/waiter, you will play a crucial role in managing our dining room operations, ensuring the highest standards of service, and helping our team to exceed our guests' expectations. This position requires a blend of teamsmanship, passion for hospitality, and a commitment to excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome and seat guests.
- Coordinate dining room operations, including guest reservations, seating arrangements, and service timing.
- Ensure all staff members are knowledgeable about our menu offerings, including ingredients, preparation methods, and pairing suggestions.
- Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.
- Handle guest feedback with professionalism and resolve any issues promptly and effectively.
- Oversee the maintenance and cleanliness of the dining area, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Manage inventory and supplies for the dining area, including menus, utensils, and tablelamps.
- Assist in the implementation of service protocols and standards.
- Collaborate with management to plan and execute special events and promotions.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a similar position within a high-volume and respected environment. (Not essential)
- Strong team skills, with the ability to communicate and work with a diverse team.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on guest service.
- Knowledge of restaurant operations, including health and safety regulations.
- A passion for food and beverage, with a commitment to staying informed about industry trends.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
