The job purpose of the Warehouse & Logistics Manager is to oversee and optimize the entire supply chain, ensuring efficient, accurate and timely delivery of food products to customers. They manage logistics, inventory, and warehousing operations while coordinating with suppliers and vendors to maintain product quality and availability.
Additionally, they are responsible for implementing and maintaining safety and regulatory compliance standards, as well as improving operational processes to enhance productivity and cost-efficiency.
- Managing the Warehouse Staff.
-Manage Warehouse, ensure a functioning system, from picking orders, deliveries, returns, storage, stock turnover.
-Supply chain management, working closely with Purchasing and Procurement Co-ordinator. (timing of deliveries, shortages, ordering etc)
-Manage Vans/Trucks, repairs and maintenance of vehicles.
-Maintenance of warehouse and overall building.
