The Infrastructure Services Team are currently recruiting for an energetic and experienced IT Helpdesk Administrator to join our team here at Datalex Headquarters Dublin.
You will be working as part of a team of three in a fast-paced IT environment reporting to the IT Technical Lead.
You will be responsible for the support and daily assistance to all company employees located across the Datalex office network: Dublin, Manchester, Beijing and remote workers in Amsterdam, USA & Manila.

Core areas of responsibility will include but are not limited to:
- Provide hardware, software & OS support to local and remote Windows 10, 11 and MacOS users using a helpdesk ticketing system (JIRA)
- Ensure helpdesk requests are serviced within our SLA levels to a consistently high standard
- Setup and maintain laptop hardware (asset lifecycle management, user hardware deployments, WSUS, MDT, WDS, InTune)
- Provisioning and management of user accounts, mailboxes and security groups in a hybrid AD, Azure AD and Office 365 environment
- Manage Web applications: user management and configuration: Atlassian JIRA & Confluence

Support and troubleshoot the following:
- Windows 2016 / 2019 / 2022
- Active Directory (minimum 1-year experience required)
- DNS, DHCP, File & Print, Exchange, Exchange-online.
- Users’ network issues (LAN, WAN, WLAN, TCP/IP, VPNs, cabling, etc…)
- Manage Office 365 services (Exchange Online, OneDrive, SharePoint Online, Teams)
- Maintain and support Azure services (Azure AD-Connect, Self-Service Password Reset, MFA, InTune, ATP)
- Manage hosted phone system
- Support and manage endpoints security (antivirus and encryption)
- Produce how-to technical guides for end users and internal team documentation
Experience:
- Diploma or Degree in a computer-related discipline.
- Minimum 3 years hands-on experience working in a fast paced corporate support environment.
- Experience supporting Windows systems (Windows 10, Windows 11 & MAC OS): setup, maintenance and troubleshooting of systems.
- Proven experience provisioning and managing user accounts, security groups and mailboxes.
- PowerShell experience would be an advantage.
- Amazon Web Services (AWS) desirable.
- Experience managing with one or more Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence, Guard, BitBucket)
- Experience with one or more virtualization technologies (VMWare, Hyper-V, Azure)
- Cisco network devices or Checkpoint Firewalls
- Centos or other Linux OS
- Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail is essential for this role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A proactive attitude. The team focuses on continuous improvement and preventative actions
- A strong customer focus, customer service is key for this role
- A team focused individual who can work on your own initiative in an organised methodical way to ensure the day to day operation is running smoothly for all
- The ability to adapt to work priorities as per needs of a busy user and customer reliant operation

- Ability to work from home or in the office
- Open to travel to the UK office when needed
