Role Overview
As part of our expansion plans, we are looking for a highly skilled and enthusiastic Marketing Executive to join our team. The Marketing Executive will play a key role in delivering creative, engaging, and effective marketing campaigns to support business growth. Working closely with the marketing team, you will contribute to digital and offline marketing initiatives, manage content creation, and help maintain the Duggan Veterinary Supplies brand voice across all platforms.
This role is ideal for a proactive and creative individual with strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering results.
Key Responsibilities
Campaigns & Content
- Assist in planning, creating, executing and reporting on marketing campaigns across multiple channels, including email, social media, print, and events.
- Write and edit engaging content for blogs, newsletters, website pages, and product literature.
- Support the development of digital marketing assets, liaising with the design team to produce eye-catching visuals.
Digital Marketing
- Manage and schedule social media posts, monitor engagement, and report on performance.
- Assist with search engine optimisation (SEO) and online advertising campaigns (Google Ads, social media ads).
- Help maintain and update website content using the company’s CMS.
Events & Trade Shows
- Support the organisation of events, exhibitions, and CPD training sessions, including logistics and promotional materials.
- Liaise with suppliers and partners to coordinate joint marketing activities.
Brand & Sustainability
- Ensure brand guidelines are maintained across all marketing output.
- Contribute to sustainability-focused communications and initiatives in line with our environmental commitments.
Reporting & Analysis
- Track, analyse, and report on campaign performance to help refine future marketing activity.
- Conduct competitor and market research to identify trends and opportunities.
Key Skills & Experience
- Degree or diploma in marketing, communications, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 1–3 years’ experience in a marketing role (B2B or B2C), ideally in the veterinary, agricultural, or healthcare sectors (advantageous but not essential).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in social media platforms, email marketing tools, and CMS systems.
- Familiarity with Google Analytics, SEO principles, and online advertising.
- Ability to manage multiple projects with attention to detail and deadlines.
- Creative flair and willingness to contribute ideas.
- Experience with design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) is an advantage.
