Role Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Assistant to support our finance team with day-to-day processing of supplier invoices. This is a short-term opportunity ideal for someone looking to gain valuable experience in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities

Verify accuracy of supplier invoices within our internal systems
Confirm delivery of materials against corresponding invoices
Post supplier invoices into the accounting system (Sage)
Monitor finance mailbox and respond to supplier queries in a timely manner
Reconcile supplier statements with internal records and accounting data
Strong organisational skills and keen attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Self-starter with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
Ability to work independently under pressure and meet tight deadlines
High level of discretion and professionalism when handling sensitive information
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and general computer literacy
Prior experience with Sage and basic bookkeeping knowledge is a plus
