Position Summary:
You will be responsible for the commercial management of the business development team pipeline, creating and pricing business processes as part of client proposals in line with company guidelines. You will also be required to work with customers and across internal teams on the implementation of new clients, ensuring adherence to the commercial agreements.
This role will also be responsible for the ongoing management of key commercial operations across other teams in the business, ensuring that company profitability remains in line with expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and create commercial and operational structures suitable for potential clients across the scope of all business pillars. Confidently communicate all plans with internal stakeholders for feedback before presenting final solutions to clients in conjunction with the business development team.
- Become the go-to person for commercial queries, for both clients and internal employees.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders (including C-suite) in prospective customers.
- Prepare and deliver presentations to potential customers and internal stakeholders as necessary.
- Actively input on sales strategy development and marketing strategies based on market and customer feedback.
- Take on new commercial projects as the company develops new routes to market or evolves its service portfolio.
- Keep abreast of industry trends, market conditions and the competitive landscape.
Essential Requirements:
- Very strong background in commercial management with at least 5 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of international business practices and routes to market.
- Excellent communication skills, both in-person and over the internet.
- Self-motivated and proactive, with a strategic mindset.
- Language skills: Business English (B2 or higher). Other languages are an advantage.
- Other skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
