Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and dependable Cook to prepare classic, hearty meals in a fast-paced kitchen. The ideal candidate has a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a passion for good food made right. Training is also provided.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and Hillbilly’s standards
- Set up and stock cooking stations with necessary supplies
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas
- Ensure food is cooked safely and to proper temperatures
- Monitor food quality and presentation
- Follow portion control, food safety, and sanitation standards
- Assist with prep work, cleaning, and other kitchen duties as needed
- Communicate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure orders are accurate and timely
- Handle equipment safely and report any issues to management
Qualifications:
- Prior cooking experience in a restaurant or similar kitchen environment preferred
- Solid understanding of kitchen safety and food handling procedures
- Ability to work well under pressure in a high-volume setting
- Reliable, punctual, and a team player
- Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs
- Flexible schedule availability, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From €13.50 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
