Role Overview:
We are seeking a versatile and Experienced Event Manager who is not only adept at social media but also excels in communication, team management, and multitasking. The ideal candidate will thrive in a dynamic environment, seamlessly handling multiple clients and tasks simultaneously. This role demands strong social skills, a knack for managing diverse teams, and the ability to adapt to various tasks and work environments. Flexibility is key, as the position requires adjusting to event schedules, including onsite management and event attendance. Proficiency in business social media management is essential to succeed in this role, rather than personal accounts and blogs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, organize, and execute various client events, ensuring all aspects run smoothly and efficiently.
- Utilize social media platforms to promote events, engage with audiences, and enhance overall event presence.
- Coordinate with vendors, stakeholders, and clients to ensure all event requirements are met.
- Provide onsite event management, ensuring all operations are conducted seamlessly.
- Attend events, which may include working outside standard office hours and varying days based on event schedules.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and the public, demonstrating excellent social savvy.
- Drive to various event locations with your own vehicle.
Qualifications and Skills:
- 3-5 years of event management experience within a similar field.
- Proven experience in managing social media in a business setting.
- Onsite event field management experience is essential.
- Must have a valid driver's license and own vehicle.
- Demonstrated passion for the event management industry.
- Ability to work with diverse demographics and adapt to varying audience needs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
