An excellent opportunity has arisen at the luxurious Kilronan Castle Estate & Spa for an experienced and passionate Food & Beverage Manager. This is a key leadership position within our award-winning hotel, offering the right candidate the chance to shape and elevate our F&B experience as we expand and invest further in the property.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure guest satisfaction across all food and beverage outlets through exceptional service standards.
- Collaborate with the Executive Head Chef on menu planning and smooth kitchen-F&B operations.
- Develop and source innovative beverage offerings to enhance the guest experience.
- Lead and manage the F&B team, ensuring clear communication & efficient service.
- Act as Duty Manager as scheduled, maintaining seamless hotel operations.
- Prepare and manage department budgets, controlling costs, payroll margins, purchasing, and stock.
- Monitor hygiene standards and ensure full compliance with food safety legislation.
- Implement and oversee standard operating procedures for all F&B areas.
- Conduct performance reviews, identify training needs, and implement development programs.
- Drive sales through upselling initiatives, marketing campaigns, and new revenue opportunities.
- Maintain high standards of cash handling, billing accuracy, and operational efficiency.
- Develop strategic plans aligned with the hotel’s long-term business goals.
- Compile and present weekly/monthly reports to the General Manager.
- Handle guest feedback and complaints with professionalism, ensuring satisfaction and resolution.
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience in a Food & Beverage Management role within a 4 or 5-star hotel environment.
- Strong leadership, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
- A passion for service excellence and innovation in guest dining experiences.
- Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
- A proactive approach to team development, problem-solving, and continuous improvement.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and evenings as required.
