The Role

Core Sponsorship are looking for a highly experienced, commercially minded Head of Content Partnerships to join our Sponsorship team. This is a co-working role with our current Head of Content Partnership, Sarah Mc Ginn, ideally 3 days per week. This role will lead the development and delivery of content-driven partnerships that connect brands with audiences through storytelling and media alignment.

You will work closely with our clients, internal teams and media partners to create content strategies that drive brand awareness, engagement and conversion.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Lead the strategy, planning and execution of content partnerships across Core Sponsorship’s client portfolio.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with media owners, publishers, and broadcasters to identify partnership opportunities.
  • Collaborate with sponsorship and media teams to deliver integrated campaigns that align with client objectives.
  • Oversee all aspects of activation, ensuring partnerships are delivered on time, on budget and to the highest standard.
  • Analyse and report on partnership performance, using insights to continually optimise campaigns and inform future strategy.
  • Manage and mentor junior members of the team
  • Support new business efforts by developing and presenting content partnership strategies and proposals.

Your profile

Key Skills & Experience:


  • 8+ years’ experience in content partnerships, sponsorship, media or brand marketing, ideally within an agency or media-owner environment.
  • Excellent understanding of the Irish media landscape and how to leverage content across multiple platforms (TV, digital, social, audio, events).
  • A creative and strategic thinker who can balance big-picture vision with strong attention to detail.
  • Strong client management and presentation skills, with the ability to influence at senior levels.
  • Experience leading and developing a team.
  • Strong data literacy and ability to translate insights into actionable recommendations.
