We are now seeking applications for the positionHygiene Operator - Drying Plant Production for our site in Bailieborough
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Hygiene Operator to join our Drying Plant Production team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest hygiene standards across our production areas, ensuring they are always audit-ready and compliant with food safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- · Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for your designated area.
- · Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in all production zones to meet audit and safety standards.
- Ensure efficient use of cleaning materials and equipment.
- Complete all required records accurately and on time.
- Identify and report any unsafe equipment or practices.
- Take corrective action promptly when issues arise.
- Communicate effectively within your team and across departments.
- Participate in training and development activities as required.
- Adhere to food safety guidelines and customer standards at all times.
- Comply with the company’s Data Protection Policy and ensure secure handling of personal data.
- ·Promote and maintain a safe working environment in line with Health & Safety legislation.
Qualifications & Skills
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
- Ability to follow procedures and work independently.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Previous experience in a food production or hygiene-focused role is desirable but not essential.
- Willingness to undertake training and adapt to new processes.
