Role Purpose:
The Internal Sales Executive will be responsible for supporting the sales activities of the Service Division by preparing quotes, responding to customer inquiries, and assisting the external sales team. The role is key to maintaining strong customer relationships and ensuring excellent service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle incoming customer queries by phone and email, providing product/service information and pricing.
- Prepare and follow up on quotations and service contracts.
- Maintain and update the CRM system with sales activities and client data.
- Support the external sales team by qualifying leads and arranging appointments.
- Collaborate with service technician and operations teams to ensure prompt delivery of services.
- Maintain accurate records of sales and customer interactions.
- Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities within existing accounts.
- Assist in achieving monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Liaise with the finance team on invoicing and payment follow-ups as required.
Person Specification:
Essential:
- Proven experience in internal sales, customer service, or a similar administrative role.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Customer-focused with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Desirable:
- Experience within the construction, engineering, or facilities management industry.
- Knowledge of service contracts or maintenance agreements.
