Airside Motor Centre is an independent family run business specialising in Japanese cars since 1987. Due to growth and strong demand from our customers, an exciting opportunity is now open for another Junior Car Sales Executive to join our Sales Team. The right candidate should be confident, motivated, adaptive, have an interest in the motor industry and a positive attitude. A background in customer-facing retail is highly preferable.
- A full clean driver’s license is essential.
- Previous motor industry experience is not required but is preferable.
- Work Saturdays with a midweek day off in lieu.
Key Objectives:
- Learn the key steps of the Sales Process.
- Be able to confidently demonstrate car features to prospective customers in a friendly, non-pressurised way.
- Offer advice to customers based on their needs to assist them on their purchasing process.
- Ensure all customers receive a positive experience.
- Accompany customers on test drives and/or test drive cars for customers.
Main Duties:
- Ensuring the sales team is fully assisted in terms of vehicle preparation, test drives, vehicle handovers and in dealing with customers.
- Continued learning through internal training.
- Engage and follow up with customers from start to finish of their purchasing process.
- Responsible for the preparation of the showroom and forecourt display, ensuring a strong selection of display cars are available and that the showroom is always presentable for customers.
- Ensure all customer information, sales activities, vehicle documentation and other relevant information is kept and maintained accurately and comprehensively.
- Carry out accurate appraisals of all vehicles offered for part exchange.
- Supporting the Sales Team in dealing with customers when required.
- Other ad hoc duties required by the Head of Sales.
