Requirements:
· We would prefer at least one year of experience in the hospitality or retail environment.
· Proven ability to engage and connect with customers.
· Excellent communication skills.
· A team player with a positive attitude towards work and employee engagement.
· Good knowledge and experience of either Barista operations.
· Proactive with an ability to problems solving and strive for continuous improvement.
· Barista qualification are a must for this role and practical test would be conducted as part of the hiring process to assess proficiency .
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
· Greet customers as they enter
· Educate customers on drink and food menus
· Take orders while paying attention to details (e.g. preferences of coffee blend, dairy and sugar ratios)
· Prepare beverages and food items following standard recipes
· Serve beverages and prepared food, like cookies, pastries and muffins
· Receive and process payments (cash and credit cards)
· Keep the barista and deli area clean
· Maintain stock of crockery and cutlery
· Check brewing equipment operates properly and report any maintenance needs
· Comply with health and safety regulations
· Communicate customer feedback to managers and recommend new menu items
We are looking for a Master Barista to ensure we continue to serve best coffee in town! This is our CORE business and we only look for the best. Ongoing Additional on the job training will be provided.
Responsibilities
·
- Promotes coffee consumption by educating customers; selling coffee and coffee grinding and brewing equipment, accessories, and supplies; preparing and serving a variety of coffee drinks, along with pastries and cookies.
- Welcomes customers by determining their coffee interests and needs.
- Educates customers by presenting and explaining the coffee drink menu; answering questions.
- Sells coffees and coffee grinding and brewing equipment by explaining differences in coffee beans and coffee preparation machines; demonstrating how brewing equipment operates.
- Prepares and sells coffee drinks by following prescribed recipes and preparation techniques for coffee drinks, such as, espresso, caffe latte, and cappuccino to name a few.
- Generates revenues by attracting new customers; defining new and expanded services and products.
- Maintains inventories by replenishing coffee bean supply; stocking coffee brewing equipment; maintaining supplies, pastries, and cookies for coffee bar.
- Keeps equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance; calling for repairs.
- Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following organization standards and sanitation regulations.
- Improves quality results by studying, evaluating, and re-designing processes; implementing changes; maintaining and improving the appearance of the store and coffee bar.
- Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading coffee, retail trade, and food service publications; maintaining personal networks.
- Enhances coffee shop reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

Salary starts at €11.30 an hour and can be upto €12 an hour depending on experience and skill set.
