Job Title: Mrs. Claus Performer
Position Summary
We are seeking a warm, charismatic, and engaging individual to portray Mrs. Claus during the holiday season. The Mrs. Claus Performer will bring festive cheer to life through storytelling, photo sessions, public appearances, and interactions with children and families. This role requires exceptional people skills, a love for the holiday spirit, and the ability to create a magical, memorable experience for guests.
Key Responsibilities
- Portray Mrs. Claus in an authentic, family-friendly, and festive manner at all times.
- Greet and interact warmly with guests, children, and families.
- Participate in photo sessions, cookie making demonstrations, parades, stage performances, and holiday events.
- Read stories, lead sing-alongs, and assist Santa Claus in engaging with visitors.
- Work closely with Santa, elves, and event staff to ensure smooth guest experiences.
- Maintain costume, appearance, and character integrity throughout all performances.
- Adapt to a variety of event settings, from intimate gatherings to large-scale public appearances.
- Assist with crowd management and scheduling as needed.
Qualifications & Skills
- Previous performance, acting, or public speaking experience preferred.
- Ability to stay in character and maintain a cheerful, warm demeanor for extended periods.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with both children and adults.
- Reliability and punctuality are essential.
- Comfortable wearing costumes, wigs, and stage makeup.
- Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand or sit for long periods.
- Must be comfortable interacting with large groups and working in varying temperatures (indoor and outdoor events).
Contract Type
- Seasonal position, typically November through December.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: €16.00-€18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16 – 40 per week
Work Location: In person
