Overview:
We have an exciting opportunity for a Principal Trade and Compliance Specialist! You will collaborate with a complementary team who are accountable for both strategic and tactical supply chain activities. This role focuses on supporting management reports & solutions for supply chain operations metrics and business performance. The role also provides hands-on tactical support for Trade, Compliance and freight. The position would suit a team worker who is seeking an exciting career in a dynamic Supply Chain environment.
This role will follow a hybrid work arrangement, requiring on-site attendance at Wexford three days a week - Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

Specifically, our team are responsible for: production planning, supplier management & procurement, new product introduction, inventory control and logistics & trade compliance. Role / Responsibilities
- Manage, maintain & continuously improve all aspects of the Freight, Duty, Customs and Trade Compliance function providing strategic & tactical direction to the supply chain team assuring logistics security, compliance and continuity
- Collaborate & partner with peer groups to ensure alignment and synergy of priorities on an ongoing basis
- Develop and implement strategies and operational plans in support of site & Corp plans
- Manage all physical aspects of inbound / outbound freight logistics
- Manage & maintain Freight & Duty budget
- Evaluate, audit and manage service providers to ensure compliance to business goals and agreed SLA
- Manage & maintain Customs & Duty controls & reporting
- Manage & maintain Trade compliance governance
- Collaborate & advocate best practice / learning with external agencies &/or peer groups / sites
- Execute & deliver to all assigned project plans / milestones
Qualifications:
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Business or equivalent primary degree, IIPM Certification and/or ASCM Certified
- Previous supply chain experience is required
- Experience of implementation and maintenance of outstanding standards in Supply Chain processes
- Knowledge of SAP or equivalent MRP system
- Experience of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and compliance to ISO 9001 and ISO 13485
