Greenfield Global Ireland is looking for an Production Coordinator to join our growing team.

- Leaving Certificate or equivalent required
- Certificate or Diploma preferred, ideally in a related discipline
- Would have prior related work experience; ideally in a manufacturing, GMP setting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel and job-related computer applications required
- At least 5 years' experience as an operator on complex processes within a GMP environment is essential.
- At least 2 years' experience within a similar role of a Production Co-Ordinator within a GMP environment.
- Recording and analyzing process data to inform decision making and recommendations
- Experience in writing / updating SOPs and Batch Manufacturing Records is essential - rolling out training on operational procedures, training materials.
- Experience in process development and/ or commissioning where outcomes are less certain and there is a need for flexibility
- Handling hazardous chemicals/materials.
- Experience operating with Safe Systems of work including Permits
- Competent with hand tools and basic maintenance is desirable Experience in continuous improvement - by actively using Lean Six Sigma methodology, Kaizen events, performing root cause analysis, using standard tools and methods to resolve issues e.g., FMEA, Fishbone diagrams, 5 why’s etc.
- The Production Coordinator will perform a variety of activities, including Dispensing, blending, set up of equipment for various plant tasks, filling/ packaging of products, assisting with the loading/unloading of finished goods. Supporting the warehouse receiving/Dispatch if required (work with the weighbridge system liaising with driver).
- The Production Co- Ordinator is responsible to support the business for the safe, efficient, and effective operation of plant equipment and processes.
- Operating mobile plant equipment on site as required such as forklifts.
- Conducting plant checks & inspections, along with responding to any alarms, carrying out fault finding & first line maintenance.
- The role may involve shift work to support business volumes.
- Previous experience in a similar GMP Chemical batch manufacturing environment would be advantageous. Ability to follow written and verbal instruction from others in a busy factory environment.
- Knowledge/awareness of Health & Safety and Environmental regulations is preferable.
- Good document practices in adherence to regulatory requirements while performing all tasks.
- Support Production Supervisor/ NPI Production Lead and Deputize for the Production Supervisor when required as per additional responsibilities.
- Support Production Supervisor by raising Deviations for any non-conformance’s and lead the investigations to conclusion (through FMEA, Fishbone diagrams, 5 why’s etc.) and take ownership of all CAPA’s assigned through investigations.
- Support the Production Supervisor by raising Change Controls and take ownership of all Change Control Tasks assigned through the change control meetings.
- Support Production Supervisor by reviewing documents (Batch Manufacturing Records “BMR’s”, Deviations, Protocols in a timely manner to ensure GMP/GDP compliance, accuracy, and timely completion.
- Co-ordinate and lead the production team to meet SQDCP goals.
- Champion safety within the team and promote a positive safety culture within the team.
- Work as part of a team to ensure optimum flow of products through the production process.
- Ensure compliance with Company policies, Work Instructions, SOP’s and GMP requirements always.
- Assist in drawing up and communicating production schedule plans – liaise with buyer / planners in Supply Chain Department.
- Monitor daily performance across the team and support the team to improve performance where required and escalating where appropriate.
- Champion the Quality process within the team.
- Work in conjunction with the Production Supervisor and People and Culture to develop team cross-skilling capabilities and training documents.
- Liaise with the Quality department as required. Manage any sampling of lots and document as appropriate.
- Support the Production Supervisor and team in managing process order accuracy to 100% “On-Time-Every time”.
- Ensure production area is compliant with required quality standards
- Supporting the Production Supervisor (as required), be involved in project planning and future New Product Introductions.
- The ability to work with Cross Functional Department managers to meet our common goals.
- Deputize for the Production Supervisor when required.
