Murphy New Homes
Murphy New Homes are one of Ireland’s longest established one-off residential house builders. Our services range from designing your home and applying for planning permission right through to completion of your house on site.
We pride ourselves on our reputation and excellent customer service. It is a testament to our quality -service that we are now building homes for the next generation of our previous Clients.
We are looking for a Scheduling Co-Ordinator to join our growing team at our Offices in Banteer, North Cork.
Role/Responsibilities
The role primarily involves the following:
- Collaborate with the designated foreperson to ensure that each stage of a house from Slabbing to Pre Snag is adequately supplied with the necessary labour and materials in a timely manner. This ensures projects are completed within the planned budget and timeframe.
- Taking time to review all activities you’re responsible for within a House. Planning these tasks in advance— by setting timeframes and reminders—will greatly reduce the risk of missing any required actions. This planning should be done in collaboration with the Foreperson and/or relevant Subcontractors.
- You are the main point of contact for the Customer during the stages of the House you are responsible for. It is crucial to handle all Customer queries promptly and professionally, ensuring that any promises or commitments made are fulfilled within the agreed timeframes. Keeping the Customer informed about progress—particularly if there are potential delays—is equally important.
- Track the performance of each House using our scheduling system to ensure it aligns with expectations at each stage. If performance falls short of expectations, it's crucial to identify the cause and take corrective action to reduce the likelihood of the issue recurring.
- Ensure that clients are promptly invoiced upon completion of each Stage Payment milestone.
- Regularly review the system to ensure all data is accurate and up to date.
- Holiday Cover for other members of the scheduling team.
