The Opportunity:

Due to continued business growth, we are currently recruiting a Surveyor to join our Survey & UAV department on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with prior surveying experience who is eager to advance their career while contributing to some of the most prestigious projects across the UK and Europe within the fast-paced Geospatial industry.

The role is based at our head office in Kilcullen and offers the chance to work with a talented, collaborative team. In addition, you will receive comprehensive training in mobile mapping techniques, enabling you to develop new technical skills, expand your expertise, and grow within the business.


What will I be doing in my new role?

  • Collect geospatial data through mobile mapping equipment to generate accurate 3D models, point clouds, and maps.
  • Operate mobile mapping systems, including lidar, and GPS to capture accurate spatial data in various environments.
  • Undertaking various types of surveys sessions using a variety of specialised and exciting equipment and technology
  • Work with modern survey methods and survey devices such as total stations, GNSS, GPS and data collectors.
  • Record surveying information accurately and consistently on site to the agreed specification and scope
  • Process data from the field into the office, post processing with software, such as AutoCAD
  • Assist with detailed field and office surveying assignments.
  • Ensure that all survey kit is maintained and well kept.
  • Deliver to company policies, procedures, standards and best practices.
  • Any other duties as required by the business

Requirements of the role:

  • Full clean Irish/EU manual driving licence
  • Very good level of English (written, written, speaking)
  • Physically capable to carry out the role
  • Relevant Qualifications and/or relevant experience
  • Experience of working to high safety standards.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office – Word, Outlook, and Excel.
  • Knowledge of role related post-processing software.
  • Strong technical knowledge.
  • Right to work in Ireland
  • Flexibility to travel nationwide/throughout Europe as required by our clients.
