Position: Driver / Technical Installer - Monday to Friday - 10.30am - 7pm
Job Summary:
The Driver / Technical Installer is responsible for safely and efficiently transporting goods to designated locations (healthcare facilities and settings) and installing or delivering products according to company specifications. This role requires a strong focus on customer service, attention to detail, and the ability to handle various installation tasks.
**Responsibilities:**
1. **Transportation:**
- Safely operate company vehicles to transport goods to specified destinations.
- Adhere to traffic laws and maintain a clean driving record.
2. **Installation:**
- Install products or equipment at customer locations according to provided instructions.
- Ensure proper setup, functionality, and completion of installations.
3. **Customer Interaction:**
- Provide excellent customer service during product delivery and installation.
- Address customer inquiries and concerns professionally.
4. **Vehicle Maintenance:**
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and maintenance to ensure safe and reliable operation.
- Report any issues or necessary repairs promptly.
5. **Documentation:**
- Complete accurate delivery and installation documentation, including obtaining customer signatures when required.
6. **Product Knowledge:**
- Develop a solid understanding of the products being transported and installed.
- Provide basic product usage guidance to customers.
7. **Safety Compliance:**
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines during transportation and installation activities.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
**Qualifications:**
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Previous experience in driving and installation preferred.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
- Basic knowledge of tools and equipment related to installation tasks.
- Physical ability to lift and carry heavy items.
**Working Conditions:**
The role involves a combination of driving and on-site installations. It may require occasional lifting, bending, and use of basic tools. Flexibility in working hours may be necessary based on delivery schedules and customer needs.
