Role summary
The NCH is seeking suitable applications from candidates for the role of Box Office and Customer Service Agent. The role of Box Office and Customer Service Agent supports the Box Office Management Team in the processing of ticket sales, responding to customer service queries, and supporting the sale of gift cards, memberships and other merchandise. This role will also be a key part of our ongoing commitment to customer service and the implementation of a customer service programme across NCH.
Key responsibilities
Processing all ticket sales, gift card sales and other products as necessary through the Box Office
To act as an information source for customers and deal with queries relating to concerts, events and activities taking place at the NCH
To provide the highest standard of customer service and customer care at all times
Database maintenance on ticketing system
Payment reconciliation at end of day
To maintain the professional and corporate image of NCH at all times
To undertake any other box office duties which may be requested by the Box Office Management Team.
The Person
Essential Requirements
The successful candidate must demonstrate evidence of:
Interest and experience in customer service role with proven customer care skills
Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Demonstrates initiative and flexibility in ensuring work is delivered to a high standard
Experience with Office 365, and/or other similar ICT systems
An understanding and experience of Data Regulation Protections, including the Data Protection Act, 2018, and the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR).
Desirable Requirements
The following requirements are desirable:
An interest in cultural institutions and the music sector
Experience working with any ticketing system
A basic knowledge of the Irish language

General
The role is offered as a casual, part-time position with an hourly rate of pay of €17.33.
Hours of attendance will be variable, with no guarantee that hours will be offered to you on a weekly basis. Normal working hours can fall between 09:00 - 23:00 Monday to Sunday.
