Part-Time Accounts Technician
Contract Duration: Initally 6 Months with option to extend. Hours: 20 Hours per week
Location: Dromone Oldcastle Co Meath A82E0W4
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing day-to-day financial transactions using Sage Accounts 50 Pro.
- Conducting banking reconciliations.
- Processing payroll accurately using Payroll Thesaurus.
- Completing VAT returns timely and accurately.
- Managing PRSI and Income Tax compliance.
- Importing and customs clearance
- Debt Chasing and follow ups
Additional Skills (Beneficial, but Training Provided):
- Experience with the customs clearance process inc Postponed VAT.
- Pensions
- Familiarity with Direct Debit origination processes.
- Handling FX international bank transfers.
Personal Attributes:
- Highly trustworthy and discreet.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a busy office environment.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Previous experience as an Accounts Technician or similar role.
- Proficient in Sage Accounts 50 Pro and Payroll Thesaurus (essential).
- Strong knowledge of Irish VAT, PRSI, and Income Tax regulations.
Remuneration: Competitive remuneration based on experience. Available on request.
