We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to join the team in our Castletownbere depot, Co Cork.
Roles and responsibilities
Purchasing & Receipt of Goods
- Manage the purchase requisitions process for the depot (stock and non-stock purchases)
- Load and unload goods delivered to and despatched from the depot and update our systems
- Complete quality inspections on incoming goods and document and update our systems accordingly
- Ensure materials are put away in the store in their designated area and the store is maintained in an orderly fashion.
Stock Control
- Provide support in the development of company-wide minimum stock levels and reorder quantities
- Complete stock takes in line with company policy providing detailed explanations for any discrepancies that arise
- Create and accept internal stock transfer requests to and from other company stock locations and update our Intact IQ systems
Job Costing
- Report the issuance of materials to the production floor and complete the job costing process to consume material into the jobs within our Intact IQ system.
Sales
- Manage the order to cash process in our Castletownbere depot, including the sales desk and trade counter using our Intact IQ systems
- Initiate the setup of new or changes to existing customer accounts in our Intact IQ system.
- Manage active sales orders to ensure that they are kept updated within our Intact IQ system and cancel if they are no longer valid
- Assist customers with any queries they may have in a professional and courteous manner
- Follow up on any overdue customer accounts and take an active role in our monthly credit control meetings
Cash Reconciliation and Banking
- Complete the daily cash reconciliation process in the depot
- Lodge all monies received to the bank in a timely manner providing a detailed breakdown of allocations
- Other ad hoc tasks assigned to you by management

- A flexible approach to working arrangements
- A Forklift licence (desirable)
- A full driving licence.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: €16.00-€17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
