Key Responsibilities:
- Greet all guests in a warm, professional, and welcoming manner.
- Show guests to their tables and allocate seating according to the flow of service and business needs.
- Manage the flow of guests during busy periods to ensure smooth operations.
- Ensure effective communication between the front desk and all departments.
- Maintain the presentation and atmosphere of the reception area (lighting, music, temperature, cleanliness).
- Handle incoming phone calls, transfer calls to relevant departments, and take clear, accurate messages.
- Manage email communications professionally and promptly.
- Assist with booking enquiries for both small tables and large group reservations, ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Conduct show-arounds and meetings with potential clients when needed.
- Carry out ad-hoc administrative and office duties as required.
Requirements:
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
- Fluency in English is essential.
- Previous front desk or reception experience in a busy hospitality environment.
- Strong multitasking and organizational skills.
- A valid work permit to work in Ireland.
- References required.
