The Foods of Athenry are a food manufacturing company based outside Athenry, in Co. Galway. We manufacture a wide range of granolas, snack bars, cookies as well as seasonal Christmas bakery foods such as puddings, Christmas cakes and pies.
We currently have full-time , part-time and short term contract vacancies for hardworking, self motivated staff who would like to work as part of a small team in our production facility. Must be car owner as we are rurally based.
Duties include:
- Assist bakers with decanting ingredients & recipe formulation.
- Carrying out operations in the packaging area, including packing & labelling.
- Follow detailed instructions and perform other tasks as directed.
- Complete and comply with all documentation as required in the process.
- Ensure manufacturing activities are completed in a manner which will not compromise the health and safety of employees and visitors to the site
What we are looking for:
- Previous experience in food manufacturing or production is beneficial but not essential.
- Ability to effectively communicate in the English language verbally and in writing.
- Able to read and interpret standard Operating procedures and work instructions.
- Good work ethic
- Enthusiastic and helpful team member
