The Role
Learning Waves is looking to recruit a Multi-Media Content Creator and Project Support Administrator, someone who is experienced in creating and editing content for social media platforms, for websites, for podcasts etc.
In this role you will be responsible for :
- Management of content for Learning Waves’ six social networks – Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube and TikTok.
- Content management of our website https://www.learningwaves.ie/.
- Content creation to include copywriting, graphics, blogs and video creation.
- Content editing to include designing and editing graphics, video and audio editing
- Scheduling posts on our social media management tool and tagging relevant accounts.
- Social media marketing for key campaigns and events.
- Monthly social media reports with takeaways and recommendations included.
- Creating and issuing e-zines using Mailchimp.
- Administration duties in relation to management of training courses/Projects run by Learning Waves.
Skills
- Proficient in using all social networks
- Skilled copywriter
- Familiar with digital marketing tools, apps and platforms for scheduling social media content
- Familiar with Adobe Audition for Audio Editing and Abobe Premier and/or Filmora for Video Editing
- Creativity in relation to content creation, editing and design
- Experience in exporting analytics reports and interpreting data
- Ability to work on your own initiative
- Be a self starter
Minimum Requirements
Ideally candidates will have:
- Digital Media or Media Qualification
- 12-18 months experience in a similar role
- An interest in the Media Sector in Ireland
About Learning Waves
Learning Waves is the training body for the Independent Radio Sector in Ireland. Learning Waves works with 31 radio stations along with 3 Sales Houses across Ireland. In this role you will have the opportunity to get to know all those working in radio across Ireland it will provide you with a unique insight into the world of media. It is an exciting role that you can make your own within the parameters of the organisation.
