Do you have a passion for creating unforgettable moments? At the Radisson Blu Hotel, Limerick, we’re looking for a Wedding & Events Planning Manager to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to be at the heart of our weddings, meetings, and events – from the very first inquiry to the final farewell.
The Role
As Wedding & Events Planning Manager, you’ll:
Manage weddings, meetings, and events from enquiry through to delivery.
Handle client inquiries, prepare proposals, quotations, and contracts.
Conduct site visits, client meetings, and follow-up communications to secure bookings.
Coordinate with the Operations team to ensure seamless event delivery and exceptional guest satisfaction.
Provide ad hoc administrative and operational support to Sales and Events teams.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the function diary and input business into the Property Management System (PMS).
Conduct on-site inspections and client entertainment.
Prepare and issue function sheets to ensure flawless execution.
Liaise with Revenue, Front Office, and Operations teams.
Maximize revenue through up-selling and creative event solutions.
Support reporting, database management, and telesales projects.
What We’re Looking For
Previous experience in sales, weddings, or events within the hospitality industry.
Strong communication, organizational, and client management skills.
A proactive team player who can also work independently.
Proficiency with Property Management Systems (PMS) and database management.
A passion for creating memorable guest experiences.
